My WTA US OPEN 2016 - 4th Round Picks, Bracket Three

8 M. Keys should get through this part of the bracket but there's potential for dramatic matches against A. Riske, M. Brengle and N. Osaka who might upset 28 C. Vandeweghe, who is coming off an ankle injury.

9 S. Kuznetsova doesn't falter early when she's the top player but the potential second round match against T. Townsend should provide some intrigue.

A. Petkovic is in one of the toss-up portions of the bracket. Other potential Fourth Rounders include: 24 B. Bencic, 13 J. Konta and T. Pironkova.

3 G. Muguruza should reach the fourth round from this portion of the bracket, as long as she's not looking too far ahead at a potential third round match against 32 M. Puig, who beat her at the Olympics in Rio. Though we've been high on Puig, she usually faced a top player in the early rounds and could never reach the fourth round. This US Open is no different, except that a few weeks ago she beat Muguruza, Petra Kvitova and Angelique Kerber to win the Gold Medal in Rio.
