Top Half: 13 Wins; 3 Losses
Bottom Half: 9 Wins; 7 Losses
Kenin S. (20) vs. [Keys M.] (10) -- Madison needs to remain focused (Redux). Kenin is a handful and like Madison pretty much has one mode: attack.
[Svitolina E.] (5) vs. Yastremska D. (32) -- Oddly enough this is a toss-up, especially since a pattern has started to form, for the most part, at this US Open, of younger countrywomen upsetting veterans. Still I think Svitolina will gut it out.
[Konta J.] (16) vs. Zhang S. (33) -- This continues to be Konta's chance to reestablish herself. Zhang surprises everyone so that makes it a tight call.
Jabeur O. vs. [Pliskova Ka.] (3) -- Not one to have major letdowns (Redux).
[Williams S.] (8) vs. Muchova K. -- Not the matchup I anticipated. Muchova is playing with house money and looking to make another run in a majors like she did at Wimbledon.
Martic P. (22) vs. [Sevastova A.] (12) -- A true-toss up and a clash of styles. They've split their two previous matches.
Ferro F. vs. [Wang Q.] (18) -- Wang leads the head-to-head at 3 to 1, with the lone loss coming on clay.
Sakkari M. (30) vs. [Barty A.] (2) -- Two tough players with Barty leading the head-to-head at 3 to 1.
